Webbs Garden Centres unveil refreshed Brand Identity

Webbs Garden Centres

Webbs Garden Centres, a leading destination for gardening enthusiasts, announced today the launch of its new brand identity, featuring a refreshed logo, updated colour scheme and stamp to indicate Webbs’ own products.

The rebrand reflects the company’s long heritage in the horticultural industry with an art deco inspired logo which nods to the covers of Webbs’ magazines and seed packets from the previous century.  The organic flowing wordmark also takes cues from the natural world and reflects Webbs’ one-of-a-kind uniqueness.

As the brand looks to the future, the logo has been teamed with a modern font across signage and literature and the colour purple – synonymous with the Webbs brand, has been given a sophisticated update and complementary tonal palette.

A new stamp will make it easy for customers to identify products that are grown or made by Webbs. Where the stamp is shown, customers can be reassured of a quality product, produced with the utmost care and attention. The company currently grows many of its own plants on its Wychbold based nursery in peat-free soil, using harvested grey water as irrigation. Webbs’ own honey can be found in the foodhall – extracted from the beehives in the Riverside Gardens and Webbs also partners with local craft businesses, to produce limited edition food and drink offerings. The new branding will be showcased first on a complex yet palatable table cider being produced in partnership with Herefordshire based Little Pomona and launching this coming autumn.

“We are excited to share our new brand identity with our customers” said owner Ed Webb.

“We believe our new logo better reflects our connection to the natural world and we hope the stamp will make it easy for our customers to find products made or grown by us or in partnership with local companies we trust. We look forward to continuing to provide our community with the highest quality products and customer service.”

The new brand identity is being rolled out across all Webbs Garden Centre locations, including its online store.
